When you're ready to shop, roam around the beach and ethnic shops behind the seafront and stroll the waterfront at dusk, buying trinkets from the art and crafts stalls that appear here every evening. And then seek out Figueretas's music spots and English-style pubs if you fancy a fun, but less frenzied night time than in the neighbouring, high-energy capital. For buzzier beach life, head for nearby Playa D'en Bossa, where numerous watersports centres and kids' entertainments spell a memorable day out.
